December, traditionally a slow month for great movies, will see the arrival of Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law reprising their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr John H. Watson respectively in "A Game of Shadows". If like me, you enjoyed the first installment and loved Downey's eccentric portrayal of Sherlock, then you're probably gonna enjoy this flick too.
Possibly worth the price of admission (in no particular order):
- Professor James Moriarty (Sherlock's archenemy);
- Naomi Rapace - to see if she really can rap;
- Sherlock Holmes in a dress;
- Sherlock Holmes in a pyjamas; and
- Sherlock Holmes fighting with an umbrella.
Possible reason to just download and not watch it in the cinema (in no particular order):
- Downey Jr looking rather old and haggard;
- No Mark Strong (unless he returns from the dead...again.); and
- Sherlock Holmes partially dressed.
